Field Service Technician

Consilium are proudly recruiting a Field Service Technician for an engineering and production company that design and manufacture specialist equipment used in a variety of industries; their products range from small hand held devices through to large integrated production machinery.


Field Service Technician - The Role:

You will be part of a team that provide maintenance, installation and repair services to equipment both onsite, head office and at customer sites across the UK and sometimes Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

• Visiting customer sites to install, commission and repair electro mechanical equipment.
• Fault finding and repair of electro mechanical equipment returned to head office.
• Liaising with customers to resolve technical equipment performance and best practice issues.

Field Service Technician - The Person

The successful candidate will have experience as a service/maintenance technician or similar experience working with industrial, manufacturing or production related equipment.

Experience Required for the Field Service Technician role:

• Hold a basic qualification or be time served in the electro/mechanical field. 
• Full driving licence with the willingness to travel UK wide with occasional international travel to Europe.
• Previous hands on experience working with electro mechanical equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
